Meet the Ferafolia Team and Advisors

Peter Iro
Peter Iro
President

Peter Ianimae Iro is the President of Ferafolia Community Trust Board (FCTB) and has a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the SI National University. He is currently a bank officer in the Development Bank of Solomon Islands (DBSI). He has had wide experience working with communities in the areas of agro-forestry, involving awareness-raising in crops such as kava, ginger, and noni.

Assistent President

David Lui Talo is the Vice President of the FCTB. He holds a Diploma in Business from the Solomon Islands National University and has had leadership experience for several years and has led the Ferafolia youth in the kava and conservation initiatives in the last three years.
Marcellin Loboi

Accountant
Marcellin Loboi is Treasurer of FFCT. He has experience in the area of book keeping and accounting having experience in the Solomon Islands private sector, especially the SME sector. Marcellin is completing his Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the University of the South Pacific (USP).
Geraldin Osinari

Secretary
Geraldine Osinari is the Secretary of FCTB. She brings gender balance to the governance of Ferafolia. She is a fresh university graduate having completed her Bachelor in Economics and Human Resource Management from the University of the South Pacific. She is currently assistant Human Resources Manager in a prominent retain chain in Honiara. She is a valuable asset to the community.

Member

Linfer Osinari is a Member of the FCTB. She brings in a wealth of experience from the education sector having been an early childhood teacher for more than ten years in Honiara. She is currently a school teacher at the Honiara Integrated Primary School (HIPS). She holds a Certificate in Early Childhood from the University of the South Pacific-Australian Pacific Technical College (APTC) and currently completing her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care from the Solomon Islands National University. She has been an active member of women’s’ group at the community level.
